This step is designed to be able to push your bank fishing Takedown Rod Holder into the ground, without having to carry a hammer! If you step down until the step hits the ground, it will have your rod holder at maximum depth, for ultimate strength!

Makes it so much easier to get the rod holder into the ground. I also use mine as a guard for when I need to hammer the rod holder into rough terrain, helps keep my paint looking nice.

Works well. The soil is still frozen in some areas that I fish at the removable step worked just as advertised.
Due to weather I haven't got to actually use it. I did take it out in my front yard and used it. Seemed to work well, it's sturdy so i can see the benefit of it once out at the banks. Looking forward to warmer weather.
I love the step and the rod holders, we put the to use down on the coast this weekend and they worked out great. Ty
