I love supporting small businesses and was so excited to finally be able to order these. I knew they were not painted, im totally ok with that, but I had no idea I was going to have to spend more time and money grinding, filing, and sanding all of these just to make them safe to use. Knife sharp edges on all sides of the steps is a good way to turn a fishing trip into an E.R. visit. It is what it is but for damn near $200 I expected a little more pride in your work. Very disappointing. That said, they do seem pretty sturdy and after I'm done fixing them i think they will work very well...good luck to ya.
These rod holders far exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship put into these things is incredible. I would highly recommend these to anyone that fishes. They are well worth every penny.

I performed the pickup test just like the guy in the video. The holders never moved. Do yourselves a favor and get Take Down Rod Holders!
